1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

STREKO Dev is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013.

The website was built in accordance with Israeli Standard 5568 Part 1 — Guidelines for Web Content Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 Level AA), including the national modifications and additions specified in the standard.

We work continuously to improve the browsing experience for all users, including people with visual, hearing, motor, cognitive, and motion-sensitivity impairments.

2. Accessibility Level on the Website

The website meets, or is in the process of implementing compliance with, WCAG 2.1 Level AA as defined in Israeli Standard 5568 Part 1.

Among other measures implemented: semantic heading structure (H1–H3), RTL and Hebrew support, skip link to main content, full keyboard navigation (including menus, modals, and radio groups), visible focus indicators, form labels and errors, alternative text for images, aria-current in navigation, and keyboard adaptations in the services menu and mobile benefits accordion.

Visual accessibility menu: text enlargement up to 200% at the root, contrast modes, link highlighting, and animation reduction.

Time-based media criteria (1.2.x) will be implemented when video or audio is added to the website, using the AccessibleMedia component with captions/transcripts.

3. Visual Accessibility Menu

A floating accessibility menu is attached to the website, allowing: increasing and decreasing text size (in fixed steps up to 200%, with full reset), contrast modes (grayscale / high contrast), link highlighting, and disabling animations.

This menu complements the structural accessibility of the website — it does not replace it. All adjustments can be reversed via "Reset all" in the menu or by refreshing the page after reset.

4. National Adaptations in Standard 5568

Section headings (Criterion 2.4.10): implemented as semantic HTML headings on website pages.

Media (Criteria 1.2.1–1.2.5): when media is published — captions, transcripts, or a textual alternative will be provided according to content type.

Language of parts (3.1.2): does not apply to Hebrew-language websites under the Israeli standard.

5. Browsers and Assistive Technologies

The website is compatible with modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (current versions).

We recommend browsing with a screen reader (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and navigating by keyboard only for the best experience.

Assistive technology (system text enlargement, high contrast) may complement the website's adaptations.

6. Known Limitations

Some third-party embedded content (if added in the future) may not be fully accessible.

The "high contrast" mode in the accessibility menu uses global color inversion — in some cases contrast may not meet all required contrast ratios.

Text enlargement via the menu is based on changing root font size — components with fixed pixel sizes may not scale fully; browser zoom (200%) is also recommended.

We strive to improve these components based on user feedback.

7. Feedback, Requests, and Accommodations

We welcome accessibility inquiries — suggestions for improvement, reports of barriers, or requests for accommodations. We will respond as soon as possible and act appropriately.
